CANCELLATION & REFUNDS POLICY
GoFoodie – Powered by Maxxcom Group offers an ordering and delivery service from our listed partner Restaurants throughout Dubai and elsewhere in the United Arab Emirates. Every Restaurant has a prescribed delivery area. If your office is outside the delivery areas, a message will appear on screen notifying you that ordering with that particular restaurant will charged with an additional delivery change. Operating hours will vary depending on local trading conditions and the availability of our Partner Restaurants.
When you place an order through our Service, an email thanking you for your order and confirming your order has been received and accepted by the Partner Restaurant (the “Confirmation Email”) will be sent to you by us on behalf of the Partner Restaurant. The contract for the supply of any Meal you order through us will be between you and the GoFoodie – Powered by Maxxcom Group. Please ensure that you have given us a correct email address as this is how we will communicate with you about your Order. Please also ensure that you provide an accurate address and telephone number to ensure that your Meals arrive to the correct location. Our delivery guy will reach your office location. If you do not open the door or respond to telephonic correspondence within 10 minutes of our delivery drivers physically reaching your address, we reserve the right to leave the premises, and you will be charged for the Meal.
GoFoodie – Powered by Maxxcom Group allows the customers to place orders from restaurants from areas any where in Dubai. Once the orders are placed, the order is communicated to the restaurant via merchant app. Once the order is confirmed, it is delivered by GoFoodie – Powered by Maxxcom Group delivery team.
Extra delivery is charged a fee of AED 7 per combo. Under special circumstances such as festivals, offers, discounts or promotions the delivery fee may be waived off. GoFoodie – Powered by Maxxcom Group relies on third party restaurant to prepare the food. GoFoodie – Powered by Maxxcom Group uses its own delivery personnel to pick up and delivery the items to customers.
Our current areas of operation are Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City, Al Karama, Jumeira Lake Towers and Barsha, Jebel Ali, DIP, DSO, Academic City, Outsource Zone, Business Bay, Deira, Bur Dubai, Al Nadha Dubai.
1.1 GoFoodie – Powered by Maxxcom Group at phase one will be delivering Lunch only, so delivery would be anywhere between 11 AM to 3 PM. Depending on the restaurant location chosen by you.
REFUND/ON HOLD/NON-CHARGEBLE POLICY
You shall be entitled to a refund as you pre-pay for your order at the time of placing your order on the Services and only in the event of any of the following circumstances:
1.1 Your food is not delivered as promised on a particular day and Time.
1.2 In case you put your meal on hold before 9.30 AM by logging into the account on or before the day of order. For that particular day you will not be charged. However instead of getting a refund your money will be maintained in GoFoodie – Powered by Maxxcom Group Wallet.
1.3 In case you block the service for certain time (In event of vacation) we will hold the service, and you will not be charged for that duration. (Maximum hold duration is 20 Days, once a Year) .
1.4 Refunds will be done only through the original mode of payment.
Your order cancellation could be accepted in 3 ways only:
1. You can cancel your order 3 times in a subscription period.
2. You can take 2 short terms for continuous 7 days in a subscription period.
3. You can take 22 days for one long-term vacation.
please note that any other cancellation will not get any refund.
(i) Upon successfully placing an order, we shall send you an SMS and an E-Mail confirming the order.
(ii) We shall send the confirmation to the registered mobile number and E-Mail with in 10 minutes of successful order confirmation.
(iii) Also you will be able to see your GoFoodie – Powered by Maxxcom Group Wallet being topped up on the App and website.
